Hi! I’m Matt. I’m Massachusetts born, New Hampshire raised, and have been living in Fairfield County, Connecticut for over 10 years. My wife, Kristin, and I have two fluffy and loveable cats and a Mini Aussie named Penelope. They are my world and make me laugh every day!
I’ve always been a natural storyteller, and love meeting new people and making a personal connection through shared experiences. Admittedly though, I’m not always the best at expressing myself through words. I had an interest in being behind the camera when I was younger, so I chose to attend Quinnipiac University and got a degree in media production. These studies released my passion for photography as a way to share my perspective visually, and now I’ve been doing what I love for 10 years. I continue to challenge myself to explore new perspectives, learn new technologies to unleash my creativity, and improve the product that I deliver to my clients.
Outside of photography, my other passion is soccer – both as a player and a spectator. I play in a few adult leagues, and I am an avid Manchester United supporter. My wife and I love to travel, which has been a dream for me to have the opportunity to capture both the beauty of nature and urban culture wherever we go. I appreciate good beer, good food, relaxing hikes with Penelope, and quality time with friends and loved ones.
My personal mantra is “do what you love and love what you do” and I take that very seriously. For me, photography is not only a way to express myself artistically, but also a way to capture memories to last a lifetime. When looking through photo albums from my childhood, I cherish having these visual reminders of not only the big events, but also the everyday moments that make life so beautiful. I love to capture these moments for myself, and look forward to being able to capture lasting memories for you.
